City Tour, Bike Ride, and No Tatoo with Tina Fey
May 3, 2007 – 3:49 pmI was on a tour of a city in Italy, and it was all very interesting but I had this overwhelming urge to find a bicycle. I think it was because my feet hurt from walking with this tour for most of the day. The dream seemed very real as we toured the city learning about all the great architecture and history, although I have no idea just what city is was.
We all sat down at an outdoor cafe and I ordered some water. I remember thinking that I wasn’t really hungry because I was assuming that the food would taste bad. Some guy with a mustache rode up on a yellow bike and offered it to me because he was arriving at the cafe for work. It was a bright yellow mountain bike and although it was strange that he was offering me his bike, I remembered that because it was a bright yellow bike, it was owned by the city and therefore was used as public transportation, so I hopped on.
As I rode away from the tourist crowd relieved to get away, I looked to my left and riding next to me was non-other than Tina Fey. Well, I’ve had a crush on her for some time, so I peddled faster in order to keep up until she noticed me…and she did. We chatted for awhile as we glided along the bike path by the river and through a nice park then she asked if I’d like to see the \”real\” Italy. I said sure and she took off so fast I had trouble keeping up.

I followed her as we zipped in and out of tourists and pedestrians until the people thinned out and it lloked like we were entering the slums. She rode up t the front door of a little strip mall (which I thought was weird to see) and she opened the front door of a shop that had a delapitated sign that was unreadable. We walked in and it was a tatoo parlor. She wanted us to get matching tatoos and it was then I realized that I shouldn’t be there because my wife would be angry for strolling around with Tina Fey.
So, I calmly declined her offer and zipped away on that yellow bike as fast as I could to get back to the tour crowd I was originally with, hoping that they were still at the cafe.
